O-rings seal the joints, and the tuning slide is shaped to reduce turbulent airflow. Carbon fiber's strength allows this while keeping a cylindrical outer profile and a conical bore. Three-piece flutes break down shorter, which makes for a more compact case and easier travelling.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\"\u003eMost flutes carry the woven look that carbon fiber is known for.
