A really nice player with excellent intonation and a strong, full-balanced tone. The instrument is comfortable to hold, with a fingering position that suits players with medium-sized hands and up; the tone holes are on the larger side, which contributes to the projection and open character of the sound.
This is a 2025 three-piece instrument in excellent condition. The body incorporates a multi-stage taper and fraise-undercut tone holes for responsiveness and balance across the full range. O-rings provide a secure, airtight seal at the joints, and the 7-degree dovetail embouchure angle, undercut from both sides, makes the flute ambidextrous right out of the box. This example is set up with standard Irish flute finger spacing. Comes with the Carbony Winds flute roll for easy carrying.
