Both have been sealed with a very thin cyanoacrylate glue, and the whistle plays fine, with the tone largely unaffected. The cracks are visible, and a sealed crack can open up again, so the head needs a little extra care: keep it in a humidified environment, ideally between 45% and 60% humidity.
