This is a vintage Dolmetsch plastic alto recorder pitched at A=415hz (low pitch). The instrument is in playable condition with a small chip in the socket that does not affect how it plays. The tenons are wrapped with thread, and the foot joint has an additional layer of teflon tape that has been added to improve the connection between joints.

The low pitch standard (A=415hz) makes this recorder suitable for ensemble playing with period instruments or other musicians working at this tuning standard.
