Peter Noy Boxwood 1-Key, D

A boxwood D flute by Peter Noy, featuring hand-hammered gold-plated rings, silver-capped tenons, and a screw cap crown set with a fire-opal jewel. The embouchure is cut in the Rudall style, while the overall design blends elements of Rudall and Pratten, resulting in a smaller-holed flute in the small-to-medium Rudall range. 

The instrument comes with two foot joints: the original non-keyed foot and a second foot with an Eb key. It comes in a Northwind case that has been modified by the previous owner to accommodate all the pieces.
