P. Grinter Blackwood Keyless C Body

$1,59999
Condition: Used - Excellent

This C body is in like-new condition, made in 2026. The body is designed for use with Pip Grinter's large-holed Rudall and Rose system, which allows a player to swap between D, C, and E-flat bodies using a shared head and foot joint. This listing is for the C body only. Pip has confirmed compatibility with his own flutes as well as with Michael Grinter's large-holed Rudall models, making it a versatile extension for players who already own either. At the time of this posting, a six-key D flute by Pip is also available in the shop and pairs directly with this body.

About the Maker

The Grinter workshop was founded over 35 years ago by Michael Grinter and Helen McGeachin, and during that time it developed into one of the world's highest-profile flute-making workshops. Pip Grinter is a second-generation maker, carrying that legacy forward under his own name. His flutes are based on the Rudall and Rose design, and all come with an adjustable cork and tuning slide; keys and rings are sterling silver. Flutes are available in D, C, E-flat, and B-flat, and the D flute is designed to take E-flat and C extensions by swapping the centre and heart pieces while retaining the D head and foot joint.
