A rare find. This set features one shared head joint that fits two bodies, one pitched in A and one in Bb, giving the player access to both keys. The tone is warm, clear, and responsive, with good intonation across both registers; qualities consistent throughout Schultz's work and immediately recognizable to players who have spent time with these instruments. The interchangeable body design makes for a practical and well-considered set, easy to switch between pitches.

Both bodies and the head joint are in new condition, having come directly from Glenn Schultz's own workshop stock as instruments that were completed but never sold. This is genuinely new-old stock, not a pre-owned instrument.

About the Maker

Glenn Schultz built his reputation crafting Water Weasel whistles from PVC, earning a loyal following among traditional players who value their reliable tuning, clear tone, and no-fuss playability. He also produced the Thin Weasel, a wooden version of the design. Working out of Oxford, MI, Schultz made instruments that players and fellow makers praised for their beautiful, clear tone and good volume. He was a much-loved figure in the whistle-making community and mentored Paul Busman.
