Terry McGee Blackwood Pratten Style Flute, D

This Terry McGee Blackwood Pratten style flute in D is an excellent player with strong bell notes and responsive intonation. Made in the early 2000s, it has been adapted for smaller hands, with reduced finger hole sizes and offset 3rd and 6th holes for improved ergonomics and grip.

The flute delivers the power and projection expected from a Pratten model while remaining accessible to players with smaller hands who may find standard-sized holes difficult to seal. The offset holes contribute to handier playing position without compromising the instrument's fundamental character.

The instrument is in excellent condition and comes with a custom-made hardwood case in fine timber. The case features extra sections suitable for storing either whistles or a piccolo.
