A nice player with excellent tuning and response. The keywork includes a right-hand touch for the B-flat as well as a long F key fitted with an alternate touch position, so whether your left-hand pinky drops down or sits in line with the fingers, you have a couple of comfortable places to work the long F.
The tone holes are Casey's standard Rudall-sized holes, with holes three and six very slightly offset. This is not one of the small-handed models, but the spread is easy and open to a wide range of players; anyone with medium to medium-small hands on up should be plenty comfortable. Power is good overall, in keeping with a typical medium-hold Rudall-type design.
