A beautiful tone, flute-like and brassy at once, with the snappy response that comes with a conical bore. A lovely player in every respect.
The tuning slide gives a good working range either side of A=440, so you can tune up or down to suit whoever you are playing with.
Michael Copeland's whistles are no longer in production, and getting hold of one has become steadily more of a challenge.
