An early three-hole tabor pipe from the Kelischek Workshop, made in brown plastic and believed to date from the early 1980s. It is played one-handed, two finger holes in front and a thumb hole behind, freeing the other hand for a tabor drum in the traditional pipe-and-tabor fashion.

What marks it as an early example is the fipple: this one is voiced with a cedar wood plug, the construction Kelischek used before revising its three-hole tabor pipe design in the early 1990s. Later examples switched to an all-plastic fipple, so a cedar-plugged pipe like this one predates that change.
