A sweet player with real resonance, projection and power for such a small-holed flute. It is pitched at A=452 and was very likely built for that standard. The spread is still reasonable despite the small holes, so it suits medium to smaller hands.
Boxwood with a narrow bore and small tone holes, and a single brass Eb key. The ivory rings are beautifully turned in a triple-lobed profile. There is no name or maker's mark anywhere on the instrument.
Recently oiled here, and everything seals properly.
