Carbony Celtic Winds Carbon Fiber Great Highland Bagpipes

The Great Highland Bagpipes made by Carbony Celtic Winds are available with a variety of mounts & trim, and in multiple keys.

Full sets come tied-into a Canmore bag, fully reeded, and ready play, while "Sticks & Stocks," are just that: the drones, chanter, & blowpipe with their associated stocks.

Regarding Features & Options:

Some sets of pipes have some or all of the following options available.  If you have any questions about these options, please feel free to contact us, we'll be happy to help however we can.

• Slim Stocks: In all cases, using carbon fiber allows for very dense & durable instruments while keeping overall weight lower than many comparable sets of bagpipes made from other materials.  But if you're looking for something even lighter, some sets of pipes are available with a slim-stock option.  These sets have especially slim stocks which are still very strong, but extremely lightweight.
  

• Pitches: Carbony's highland bagpipes are available in concert-A (440 Hz), Bb (466 Hz), and in "competition" pitch, (around 476 Hz).  Keep in mind: in some cases, chanter reeds made to play at these pitches may be necessary to get these chanters to produce the desired pitch.  Many reed makers have "Bb," and/or "A," or, "Concert-Pitch," options.
