An antique six-key flute in F with a spirited tonal character and good overall intonation. Plays well at A=440 with the tuning slide extended a few millimeters. Some notes require a bit of lipping adjustment to bring them fully into tune, but the instrument responds well and rewards an attentive player.
The keys function smoothly and responsively. The flute has sealed hairline cracks in the barrel section and right-hand section. The maker and date of manufacture are unknown.
