The Aulos Tenor "Classroom" Recorder is a three-piece student instrument designed for ensemble playing and as a stepping stone from soprano to tenor recorder. It plays in the key of C, matching the soprano's range, and features Baroque fingering.

This recorder is constructed from high-class ABS resin and measures 62.2 cm in length. The three-piece construction allows for precise intonation adjustment. The instrument has a dark brown body with an ivory-colored mouthpiece and trim. Notable design features include a narrow mouthpiece, curved windway, concave bell at the foot joint, and a patented double joint that permits smooth joining with no air leaks.

The "Classroom" series is engineered with a shorter right-hand finger stretch to facilitate an easier transition from soprano to tenor without requiring keys. The recorder produces a soft and sonorous tone with superb voicing and excellent intonation throughout its full range. It plays smoothly in the higher register while remaining lightweight.
