A one-piece rosewood fife in C with brass ferrules at both ends and six finger holes. Sounding length is 303mm.
It plays, and no work is needed. The lower octave is a little weak and the intonation is not exact, so it wants a fair amount of lipping up and down to drive it. The tuning discrepancies point to a quickly made instrument rather than careful bench work, and it is priced accordingly.
