Excellent tone and intonation across the range, with a responsive feel and a strong bottom D.
The hole spacing is standard, apart from a shortened reach to the bottom finger hole, and holes 3 and 6 are offset for comfort. The flute has a long foot, silver rings and a tuning slide. It has been kept in humidity-controlled storage, and it comes with a Casey Burns fabric flute pouch.

Casey Burns made flutes for Irish traditional music in Kingston, Washington, from 1981 until his retirement, and he is no longer taking orders.
