This is an unusual and interesting fife. It has seven holes, with the seventh built up like a small chimney and played with the little finger. All fingers down sounds a C; lifting the pinky off that raised bottom hole gives C sharp, and the scale walks up from there.
Response is easy and the tone is clear. A nicely playing instrument throughout.
