This is a really special flute. It was made in 2000 by Terry and it's the only Metzler based model that we know that he made. Perhaps he has made some more since then but it is not offered as a standard model. The tone and responsiveness of this flute is akin to a larger holed Rudall & Rose type flute. Super strong tone, great intonation and very responsive - due in part to the special thin walled headjoint. It's also special in that it has a Boehm style footjoint, making the lower key action superb with very usable lower notes (Eb,C#,C)
