Kala California U-Bass 5-String, Swamp Ash & Myrtle

A short scale bass in a ukulele-sized body, producing full bass pitch from polyurethane strings under low tension. It packs down to something you can take anywhere, which is a large part of why these have found their way into folk circles.

This is the California series, built in Kala's United States shop: a swamp ash body with figured myrtle and maple, in the five string configuration.

Excellent condition and looking as new. There is a small spot of clear glue low on the back, which appears to date from the build rather than from any use, and is not something you would notice in normal handling.

Comes with the original hard shell case and extra sets of Road Toad rubber strings.
