Sold as a project instrument in as-is condition. The headjoint and barrel both carry cracks that will require attention before the flute can be played. The middle C key is broken, and metal rings on both the headjoint and barrel are missing. The fittings are nickel silver. This is a candidate for a skilled restorer or a collector comfortable undertaking meaningful repair work; it is not currently playable.

Believed to date from around 1900, this flute is consistent with the wave of German-made simple-system flutes that flooded the market during the late 19th and early 20th centuries. "Nach Meyer" flutes were very often made with eight keys and were most popular from roughly 1880 to 1920. No case or accessories are included.
