An antique fife offered as is, in need of restoration and not currently playable. It would suit a handy restorer looking for a project. It is marked "London / Improved / Bb," with a sounding length of approximately 315mm, and is likely High Pitch, around A=452.

Condition notes:

  • The embouchure cut is a bit crude and does not respond well in its current state
  • Missing the crown and ring
  • Hairline crack in the headjoint from the socket side, not running through the embouchure, and could be sealed by a future owner
