This used Bruce Duve keyless flute, made from African Blackwood, has a repaired hairline crack in the left-most tenon, supported by a carbon fiber band hidden under the tenon's thread wrapping. It has a mellow, warm tone and plays smoothly. The flute bears the serial number SN 00380 and was crafted sometime in the 1970s to 1980s. Its design is based on the classic Rudall & Rose model, known for its refined sound and traditional Irish flute aesthetics.
