Carbony Celtic Winds Carbon Fiber Gaita

Carbony's Galician Bagpipes, (Gaitas,) are made in one or two-drone configurations and in several keys.  Canmore Goretex bags come standard with all sets.  Made of all carbon fiber with steel trim, these pipes are as classy as they are durable.

Regarding Features & Options:

Some sets of pipes have some or all of the following options available.  If you have any questions about these options, please feel free to contact us, we'll be happy to help however we can.

• Pitches/Keys: Following a solfège (or solfeggio) system, "standard," pitch for this instrument is C, usually referred to as, "Do".  Sets in D (aka "Re") are also available, as well as a Bb, ("Si Bemol",) chanter, (chanters for Gaitas are often called, "punteros").
  

• Gaita Pequeña: Carbony's innovative invention is, in simple terms, a smallpipe version of the Galician Gaita.  Smaller & quieter, it is to the standard Gaita as the Scottish Smallpipes are to the Great Highland Bagpipe.  This instrument is mouth-blown and comes in a two-drone configuration, with shut-off valves for each drone.  This instrument comes fully reeded, (all reeds are synthetic,) and is designed to play the first octave with all the standard Galician cross-fingering used on the larger Gaita.
