This rare 6-key model by Casey Burns is crafted from boxwood and silver, designed with ergonomics in mind for players with smaller hands. It features offset toneholes (notably holes 3 and 6) to provide improved comfort and playability.
The boxwood body imparts a warm, buttery tone that blends beautifully in traditional ensembles while maintaining good presence. The flute is tunable and plays comfortably at A=440 with excellent intonation and clean articulation across registers.
