Charles Christman was a prolific New York instrument maker in the second quarter of the 19th century. This flute was previously restored by the late/great Dave Skillen (worked with Haynes & von Huene). Has a very rich and complex tone. Is a bit tender on the lower notes in the first octave - may need further work on sealing cracks in the head joint and barrel. Plays at A~440hz (approx).
Due to ivory rings, this flute ships only to continental US.
