Condition: Antique. Fair. Has the usual repaired cracks in the headjoint and barrel. Crudely repaired long F key. Headjoint cork currently stuck in place. Position is slightly "right" of optimal. Sold as is but new owner is advised to address and possibly replace cork if damaged upon removal.
Make unknown. Stamped "Improved London". Cocus with nickel silver hardware. Intonation is actually fairly good other than a flat and slightly tender low D. Would make a good candidate to have further restoration work performed. Tender bottom D could be the result of sub optimal cork positioning, an air leak or perhaps slightly restricted bore. Overall tone and energy of the flute is very good otherwise and plays well at A440 with the slide extended only about 3/8"
