A great player, very well intonated, with the upper register notes coming easily. Michael Copeland has been remarkably consistent over the years and all of his whistles play well, but every so often one has that little extra something. This is one of those.
It carries no serial number, which places it before Copeland began marking them. This is one of the cleanest early examples we have seen, and it looks rather like it came out of a time capsule.
Copeland whistles are no longer in production, which has made good early examples steadily harder to find.
