When discussing this flute with Patrick, he called it a "stunning example of flute craft". High praise indeed. The condition that this flute is in is outstanding and the Cocus beautiful!
Lively playing instrument with a small embouchure. Baroque flute players say that the small embouchure of early flutes does make it easier to tune while playing with forked fingering and such, and was part of the technique.
