Colin is renowned for continuing the tradition of the "cosmic drainpipe" sound that Bernard Overton made famous, alongside his consistently excellent workmanship. This model, which Colin calls his "soft blower," is a strong and powerful instrument with a robust lower end and bottom D, along with an easily reachable upper octave. It offers excellent tuning and response with a comfortable amount of back pressure. We currently have two of these models in stock. Both play so similarly, it's hard to tell them apart, as they came from a previous owner who kept a "backup."
