A bright, colorful tone with just a touch of edge to it, mostly clear and punchy, sitting on a headjoint that is efficient and quick to respond. Good tuning throughout.
Designed by Phil Hardy, the Cobre is a hybrid build: a copper body, an ABS mouthpiece, and a 6082 aluminum alloy tuning slide, which together balance sweetness against compression and volume. The copper takes on a natural patina over time.
