A sweet-voiced high D from the Lon Dubh line, and a rare one. Pat O'Dwyer's Lon Dubh is typically made in brass and wood; this injection-molded version was a project to see whether the design could be produced in plastic, and it was offered for only a short while.
The volume sits at the quiet end of the scale, quiet enough to play at home without disturbing the household, which makes it a good practice whistle. It plays sweetly and evenly.
The tuning slide appears to have been glued, so the pitch is fixed. It is in excellent condition and comes with a padded case.
