A really nice playing PVC whistle with an efficient and sweet tone. The balance between the registers is good, intonation is nice, and the volume is moderate, which is plenty to carry through an average session. Taken purely on how it plays, this is an excellent instrument.

Cream PVC body with brass ferrules at the head and foot and a plastic fipple plug. A soft pouch is included.

The instrument carries no maker's mark. It plays very much like the Hoover whistles that have passed through the shop over the years, though Mack Hoover characteristically used Corian for his fipple plugs and this one does not have that, so the attribution is offered as a resemblance rather than a claim - actually plays like a cross between a Hoover and a Schultz - really nice!
