Condition: Antique restored by Jonathan Walpole
Note from Jonathan:
"This is a fully restored example of a high-quality, antique French flute from Martin Freres of Paris. It was made in the late 1800s (sometime after 1875), but plays at modern pitch with the tuning slide extended around 10 mm. It's high quality craftsmanship, small bore and small tone holes are typical of French flutes of that era that have low air requirements and a lovely sweet high end. Its classy finish features include lined sockets and tenon ends in addition to the usual rings, keys and partially lined head with tuning slide."
