The Xaphoon is a keyless single-reed pocket instrument with a full two-octave chromatic range in C, and it puts out a big, saxophone-like sound for something that fits in a bag. The finger spacing asks for a bit of a stretch, so it sits more comfortably in average or larger hands.
This is one of the plastic models rather than the bamboo, in a bronze finish with a knotwork emblem on the body. In excellent condition.
The Xaphoon is the invention of Brian Wittman, who began making them in bamboo on Maui.
