This 9-key open hole flute was made by Meyer around 1870 in Hanover, Germany. It’s crafted from rosewood with an ivory head joint and has smaller finger holes typical of the time. The same owner has had it since 1983, and the previous owner mentioned it played well.
The headjoint has hairline cracks (as pictured) and needs repair. Due to the cracks, it is not currently playable, but the issues can be addressed with proper restoration.
