This is a new old stock whistle crafted by Gene Milligan, serial number 1939. It features a warm tone with a touch of chiff and offers a strong presence throughout its range. The upper second octave requires a bit of push to reach the top notes. Gene has since stepped back from whistle making, making pieces like this increasingly rare.
