This has Gene's "Quiet" mouthpiece though this whistle is not quiet in volume, rather moderate to strong. Good for session play. Nice clear tone with a bit of chiff/edge. The quiet version of his mouthpiece I find easier to reach the upper notes - which is true of this instrument. Nice player!
