A Moeck Rottenburgh soprano recorder in maple, purchased new in 1976 and offered here by the original owner. This was the top-of-the-line maple version at the time, with decorative rings made from ivory.

In the mid-1990s, the recorder was revoiced by builder and player Rob Turner, who also replaced the original cork with traditional thread windings. It has enough resistance and complexity to suit a skilled player. No case is currently included.
