Excellent Condition
This whistle was a project by whistle maker Pat O'Dwyer that never fully got off the ground. Producing these to the quality that he desired proved difficult. A few did get released years ago. Even though they are injection molded plastic, there was still a lot of hand finishing required.
This whistle would be described as quiet for clear with an even response from bottom D all the way up with a easy / sweet singing upper octave. Perfect for both collector and player who wishes to have a sweet / clear sounding whistle. This instrument is really unrivaled in it's particular niche. Often times, quiet whistles suffer in tonal complexity and depth. Not the Lon Dubh. A very special instrument for sure.
