This Patrick O'Riordan Traveler whistle set includes interchangeable bodies in C, D, and E♭ with a shared headjoint. Patrick O'Riordan, working from his garage workshop in Fort Wayne, Indiana, became one of the premier whistle makers in the world. O'Riordan believed the mouthpiece was the key to a good whistle, and his instruments are renowned for their pure, sweet tone with a flute-like quality. He produced a limited number of instruments each year, and demand for his work was so high that customers typically waited at least two years for an instrument. His whistles are played by renowned musicians including Joanie Madden. O'Riordan continued his craft until his passing in 2019 at age 91, leaving behind a legacy of instruments treasured by players and collectors worldwide.
