Nice back pressure and a tight, focused sound, with good power in both registers and an even balance between them. Tuning is excellent, and it carries the "cosmic drain pipe" voice these whistles are known for.
Made by Colin Goldie during the transitional period when he was building to the Overton design and the instruments still went out under the Overton name. His signature is inscribed inside the bore at the bell end. Standard bore, and non-tunable.
