"Although not stamped, this appears to have been made by one of the better, established makers in Paris, judging from the quality of the workmanship and the beautiful tone and response. These makers frequently sold unstamped flutes to shops that then stamped them with their own name. I really like this head joint in particular (beautifully undercut and shaped) and one of the more responsive French flutes I have restored. Plays great at A440 after a bit of re-tuning and touching up the bore with reamers."
