A true alto in F, in clean playing order throughout.
The 709 belongs to Aulos's Haka series, a refined design after the seventeenth century maker Richard Haka. It is a three-piece instrument in ABS resin with a woodgrain finish and ivory-coloured trim, with double holes at the foot for the lower semitones. The B suffix denotes Baroque, sometimes called English, fingering.
There is a slight mark on the underside of the socket area of the head joint. The original cleaning rod and the Aulos fingering chart are included.
