A true alto in F, playing at or close to A=440 and in clean order throughout.
The Zen-On Bressan is modelled on the Baroque altos of Peter Bressan and was developed in a long collaboration between Zen-On in Japan and the Von Huene Workshop in Boston. It is a three-piece instrument in ABS resin with a rosewood-effect finish and ivory-coloured trim, and double holes at the foot for the lower semitones. A leather cord is tied at the foot joint.
