Medium hole - hole 4 is 8.2mm. A great Rudall for playing Irish traditional music. Lively / strong player with incredible tone.
Plays at A440hz with slide out 3/4". Intonation there is very good. Bottom D is solid and requires minimal push to play at pitch. Doesn't have the extreme flat foot that some Rudalls display.
C# plug works fast and seals well. C plug works - is slightly tender and I believe could be strengthened with some additional work by a luthier.
Comes with an original Rudall & Rose flute case (not original to this flute as it went with RR # 5511). The hinge seam of the case is split and currently held closed by a couple of rubber bands.
