Excellent intonation, great response and a fine balance between the octaves. C whistles are a favourite here for playing around the house, since they tend toward a more mellow tone than a D, and C is a great key for playing along with others. A C whistle also covers F and G comfortably, which makes it a genuinely useful addition to your kit.
