A strong, session-ready flute in excellent shape. The response is even throughout the octaves, with a particularly strong, resonant bottom D. Intonation is excellent across the registers. The well-cut embouchure gives a ready, immediate response.

This is a keyless, six-hole instrument built on Healy's characteristic large-bore design, in African blackwood with silver appointments. The headjoint is unlined and features the classic Healy embouchure cutaway design; the large bore and tone hole placements are intended to give the player both a powerful sound and accurate intonation. Condition is excellent.
