This 6-key version, crafted in blackwood with silver fittings, incorporates a narrower bore and smaller toneholes, delivering quick articulation, tonal flexibility, and ergonomic comfort—especially for players with smaller hands.
This flute is celebrated for its agility and ease of ornamentation while still offering substantial power and projection. Developed in collaboration with Grey Larsen, the GLP captures the charm of 19th-century American flutes and elevates it with McGee’s signature attention to intonation and craftsmanship.
