The Terry McGee "Grey Larsen Preferred" model flute is based on meticulous measurements of Grey Larsen’s mid-1800s Firth, Pond & Co. flute. Designed with smaller finger holes and a narrower bore, this flute offers exceptional agility, crisp ornamentation, and tonal versatility. Inspired by 19th-century American flutes, it provides a comfortable playing experience, particularly for those with smaller hands or a preference for nuanced articulation. Developed in collaboration with Grey Larsen, this model captures the charm of the original while incorporating improved intonation and thoughtful craftsmanship.
